Better AI Search

Turn a vague search into a structured intelligence request for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI search, or any other AI search tool.
MPD Module Prototype v1.1
Core idea: This is not a search engine. It is a search assistant. It helps you prepare a better search prompt before you use your preferred AI or search tool.
1

Assign Role

Choose the thinking lens the AI search tool should use when answering.

What role should AI adopt?
Which additional perspectives should it include?
What search mode should it use?
2

Define

State what you are really trying to find out. Avoid starting with only keywords.

What are you trying to find, understand, compare, or decide?
What question should the search answer?
What should the search avoid?
3

Collate

Add the context that will make the search more precise and useful. Define tells AI what you want. Collate tells AI what makes the answer fit you.

Important: A search without context produces general answers. A search with context produces useful answers.
What background context should the search use?
What personal, practical, location, budget, usage, timing, or preference details should the search take into account?
What is uncertain, outdated, or needs verification?
4

Structure

Choose how the search answer should be returned.

How should the answer be organised?
What level of detail should it provide?
Should it include sources, examples, comparisons, or follow-up search terms?
5

Challenge & Validate

Ask the AI search tool to test the search quality, source quality, and missing angles.
